Funeral services for Linda Willett will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Willett, age 75 of Bunkie, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Linda was born on June 25, 1947 and grew up in Plaucheville.  She was employed by South Central Bell and later sold insurance for many years at Kilpatrick Life Insurance Company.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Linda was very hospitable and welcomed anyone who entered her home with coffee, food and much love.  She loved cooking Sunday dinners for her family and friends and made the best potato salad.

She is preceded in death by her 1 ^st husband and father of her children, Raymond John Turner; her 2 ^nd husband, Gerald Willett; her parents, Percy and Ivy Ducote; brother, Johnnie Ducote; and sister, Vera Ortego.

Survivors include her children; Kevin Turner and wife Kathleen of Youngsville, Mark Turner of Bunkie, Dwight Turner and wife Melanie of Dubai and Abigail Turner-Juneau and husband Chris of Bunkie; her grandchildren, Lauren Turner Boutte (Ross), Camille Turner, Katherine Voigt, Cameron Turner, Logan Turner, Landon Turner, Lawson Turner and Benjamin Turner and her great-grandchildren, Levi Boutte, Rowan Boutte and Kash Turner.

Friends may visit on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Anthony Catholic School, 116 Knoll Ave., Bunkie, LA  71322.
