Funeral services for Linda Hardy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Bro. Wayne Squires officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Alphonsus Mausoleum in Hessmer.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Hardy, age 74 of Bunkie, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Linda and her husband owned and operated Hardy's Slaughter House for 43 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Walter and Esma Charrier Firmin; and sisters, Hazel Juneau, Geneva Ducote and Janell Allen.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Paul Hardy of Bunkie; her sons, Anthony Hardy and wife Dawn of Bunkie and Ronnie Hardy and wife Karen of Bunkie; a brother, Jerry Firmin of Denham Springs; a sister, Eura Mae Digmon of Beaumont, TX; her grandchildren, Sarah Hebert, Marlee Hardy, Maycie Hardy, Ethan Hardy and Melanie Meyers; and her great-grandchildren, Chad, Riley and Maleah.

Friends may visit on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
