LEVI JONES, JR.
Funeral services for Levi Jones, Jr. will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Moreauville with the Pastor Rev. Dennis Pursly. Burial will follow in the New Zion Cemetery in Norwood, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Levi Jones, Jr. was born October 31, 1975 to Celestine and Levi Jones II. He departed his life on February 4, 2012 in Simmesport.
He is preceded in death by his father, Levi Jones, II.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Celestine Wright Jones of Marksville; one son, Joshua Johnson of Bunkie; one daughter, Emily Johnson of Cottonport; one brother, John Dunn of Hammond; and two sisters, Glinda Jordan and her husband James of Marksville, and Linda Dunn of Norwood, LA; his grandmother, Lovie Wright of Marksville; and a special friend, Nadine Joseph of Simmesport. He is also survived by 2 nieces, 4 nephews, 1 great niece and 1 great nephew and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday and shortly before the serviced at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Moreauville.
