Funeral services for Leland Moran, Sr. will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 26, 2024, with Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Catherine Catholic Cemetery in Rosa.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Moran, age 66 of Kinder, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Christus St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles.

Leland was a caring husband and loving father to his son.   He was truly a family man.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Regina Stoute Moran.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Martha Brooks Moran of Kinder; his son, Leland Moran, Jr. of Elton; his father, Floyd Moran of Rosa; his sister, Shirley M. Bergeron and husband Lionel of Port Barre; and his brother, Floyd Moran, Jr. of Rosa.

Friends may visit on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
