A Mass of Christian Burial for Larry Gauthier will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2018 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with the Rev. Martin Laird officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mr. Gauthier, age 64 of Port Barre, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Baton Rouge General Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Fulton and Dorothy Dupont Gauthier.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Donna Bordelon of Port Barre; his children, Summer Gauthier and husband Jake of Addis and Forrest Gauthier of Lettsworth; his siblings, JoAnn Gaubert and husband Mike of Baton Rouge, Rita Hernandez and husband Gary of Lafayette, Brian Gauthier and wife Elise of Plaucheville, Ted Gauthier and partner Wayne McCartney of Port Allen and Lisa Brochard of Central; and his granddaughter, Morgan Gauthier.

Friends may visit on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. with a rosary being recited at 10:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
