KEVIN GRANT HUKINS

A memorial service for Kevin Hukins will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Bro. Donald Johnson officiating. A military service will take place afterward at Pythian Cemetery in Bunkie. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Hukins, age 42 of Bunkie, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at his residence.
Kevin graduated from Bunkie High School in 1988 and went on to Avoyelles Vo-Tech for welding and then again for computer technology which he loved. He also served in the United States Air Force as a corrosion control specialist during Desert Storm.
Those left to cherish his memories are his parents; Kenneth Hukins of Bunkie and Mary Hayes of Bunkie; a brother, Michael Hukins and his wife Audra of Echo; his two sisters, Connie McCoy and her husband Craig of Bunkie, and Stephanie Rabalais and her husband Malcolm of Lafayette; his nieces and nephews, Casey Aymond, Alexander Mayeux, Morgan Greenwood and Garrett McCoy; and his great-nieces, Marlee Barron, Caleigh Barron and Rylei Aymond.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
