Graveside services for Kenneth Ducote will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Pythian Cemetery with the Bros. William Housley and Brian Canup officiating.  Burial will follow.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Ducote, age 68 of Bunkie, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the Baton Rouge General – Mid City.

He is preceded in death by his parents, June and Ola Dozier Ducote; his siblings, Dorothy Redmon, Chery Ducote, Cindy Valois, Jody Ducote and Darrell Ducote.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Hope Madrigal Ducote of Bunkie; his children, Victoria D. Bihm of Bunkie, Felicia Ducote of Bunkie and Jason Ducote and wife Melissa of Corpus Christi, TX; his siblings, John Wayne Ducote of Golden Meadow, Joel Franks of Lone Pine, LouAnn Gauthier of Bunkie, June Paula Anderson of Polland, Caroline Fontenot of Morgan City and Betty Jo Patnaude of Jay, FL; his grandchildren, Corey Basco, Angelica Bihm, Jaimie Bihm, Alexis Bihm and Callie Ducote; and his great-grandchildren, Mason Ferguson and Emmerson Bemont.

Friends may visit on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
