Funeral services for June Francis Webb Vidrine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Eola Baptist Church with the Bro. Bryan Canup officiating. Burial will follow at White's Chapel Cemetery in Whiteville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Vidrine, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at The Carpenter House in Lafayette, Louisiana.

June was born on November 24, 1938 to James Floyd, Sr. And Ethel Webb. After graduating from Bunkie Senior High School, she married her husband of fifty-two years, Vernell Joseph Vidrine.  She was a homemaker, loving mother to her four children, and an affectionate 'MoMo' to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was an active member of the Eola Baptist, volunteered with the Special Olympics, enjoyed reading, gardening, and being with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernell Joseph Vidrine, two sons, David Craig Vidrine and Mark Glenn Vidrine, her parents, James Floyd, Sr. and Ethel Webb, her sister, Mary Lois Webb Kennedy, and two brothers, Kenneth Ray Webb and Harvey Webb.

Survivors include her two daughters, Pamela Sue Vidrine of Lafayette and Janelle Juneau (Richard) of Bunkie, two grandchildren, Lauren Boatner Frederick (William) of Lafayette and John Ab Boatner, IV (Celise) of Nashville, Tennessee, five great-grandchildren, London Elle Frederick, Graham Boatner Frederick, and Mason Grey Frederick all of Lafayette and Nora Celise Boatner and Jack David Boatner of Nashville, Tennesse and two brothers, James Floyd Webb, Jr. of Michigan and Edward Webb of Texas.

Pallbearers will include:  Richard Juneau, William Frederick, John Boather IV, Graham Frederick and Bill Larson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eola Baptist Church, P.O. Box 417, Bunkie, LA 71322.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Eola Baptist Church.
