Judy "Bobbie" Rabalais Gaspard passed away peacefully at Lakeview Manor on Friday, June 16, 2023, surrounded by her friends and family. She was born and raised in Goudeau, Louisiana, and was a resident of Morganza.  Judy may have been 76 but she was very independent.  She loved spending time with her friends and family.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Larry Gaspard, her parents, Wade and Lela Rabalais, four brothers, Lacy, Alvin, Harry Lee, and Marvin, and one sister, Evelyn.

Judy is survived by a son Robert Todd Gaspard (Angie), a daughter Jill Gaspard Copeland (Craig); three grandchildren, Nicholas Gaspard, Zachary Gaspard (Destiny), and Kodie Copeland Webre (Jude); and her brother, Gerald Rabalais.  She was the proud great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren, Azlynn, Brayden, Rylie Elise, and Blake Olivia.

A rosary and mass will be said in honor of our mother on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Goudeau, Louisiana.  The rosary will begin at 9:45 am with the mass following. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. until time of rosary.   Burial will follow at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
