Judy Charrier, age 73, was given peace in her sleep in Jacksonville, FL, after a life lone battle with Multiple Sclerosis and several debilitating strokes.

Judy was formally of Bunkie but resided in Jacksonville since 1989.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Charrier of Bunkie; and her parents, Murphy and Hattie Doucet of Bunkie.

She is survived in death by her two sons, Paul Boudreaux and Don-Louis Charrier (Renee); her four siblings, Firmin Doucet (Eva), Jacquelyn Doucet, Ester Smith (Elter) and Rod Doucet; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Judy was a LPN Nurse and Care Plan Administrator, working in both Louisiana and Florida Nursing Homes, as well as, teaching and instructing Medical Assistants.  Judy made it her life's ambition to make sure that her students and patients were given the best quality of service possible.

A Remembrance of Life Celebration will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with Bro. Lew Lemeilleur officiating.  A graveside benediction will follow at the Pythian Cemetery, where she will find her final resting place with husband, Louis charrier.  Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
