Gail Campbell, 76, a native of Bunkie, La. and a resident of Shreveport, La. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 5, 2012 after a long illness.

Gail was born on Jan. 27, 1936, in Bunkie, La. the daughter of Louis J. Landry and Laura O. Landry.

She attended St. Anthony Elementary School and graduated from Bunkie High School.

Gail loved dancing, listening to all kinds of music, fishing, and reading. She was co-founder along with her husband, S.L. Campbell, Jr. of Bayou Magic, Inc. in Shreveport,La.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years (S.L.) Sidney L. Campbell,Jr.

Other survivors include one son, Sidney L. Campbell III and his wife Francine,two daughters, Johanna Linn and her husband Chris, and Laura Beth Campbell all of Shreveport,La. Two sisters Rae Roberts of Evergreen,La, Stella Bowman of Bunkie, La. ,one brother Mac Landry of Chattanooga, Tn., 5 Granddaughters and 4 Great Grandaughters all of Shreveport, La.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis & Laura Landry, her sister Hazel McMann, her brother L.J. Landry and her grandson Matthew Campbell.

Visitation will be held from 5P.M. to 9P.M. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Hixson -Ducote Funeral Home in Bunkie, La.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, July 11,2012, at the Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home Chapel in Bunkie,La. Gail will be laid to rest in the White Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gold Dust, La. Pallbearers will include: Chris Day, Bubby Brister, Chris Cummings, Bruce Millet Jr., John Earles, & Jimmy Earles
