Funeral services for Josephine Longino will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Desmoine officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Longino, age 70 of Hessmer, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Riverside Hospital in Alexandria.

She is preceded in death by a son, John Longino, Sr.; her parents, Andrew J. and Lois Sanders Tagliarino; brothers, Andrew Tagliarino, John Joseph Tagliarino, Cecil Tagliarino, and James Tagliarino.

Survivors include her children; James Longino, Jr. and wife Marilyn of Hessmer, Justin Longino, Sr. and wife Shelley of Hessmer, Jamie Desselle of Evergreen and Andrew Tagliarino and wife Dustie of Bunkie; two brothers, Sammy Tagliarino and Charles Tagliarino both of Bunkie; two sisters, Florence Piazza of Marksville and Maryanne Madrigal of Bunkie; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday and 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. A rosary will be cited at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
