A Mass of Christian Burial for Jonathan Paul Mitchell will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the KC/CDA Hall with the Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Mitchell, age 38 of Tucson, AZ, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Banner Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Byron Stafford Holland and Alice Ducote Holland; and his paternal grandmother, Rena Milligan Mitchell.

Survivors include his parents; Edward Gary Mitchell of Bunkie and Sandra Holland Mitchell of Lafayette; his children, Jayce Parker Mitchell of CA and Kennedy Jade Mitchell of CA; his brother, Cody Allen Mitchell and wife Kristina of Pineville; his sister, Abby Nicole Mitchell of Lafayette; and paternal grandfather, Edward Mitchell of Bunkie.

Friends may visit on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.  A rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m.
