Funeral services for Joanne Fullwood will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville with the Rev. Martin Laird officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Plaucheville.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Ms. Fullwood, age 45 of Denham Springs, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.

She had been with the Baton Rouge Police Department for the past 18 years and is a veteran of the United State Army.

Survivors include her parents, Samuel and Joann Dorset Rabalais of Walker; her sisters, Tracey Suzanne McCorkey of Watson and Denise Jane Paragin of El Paso, TX; nieces, Keri Grant and Ashley Grant; and nephews, Blaine McCorkel and Curtis McCorkel.

Friends may visit on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
