Obituary

Funeral services for Jack Caraway will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Bunkie with the Bros. Gerald Cannon and Jack Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Cason Cemetery in Morrow. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Caraway, age 80 of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Opelousas General Hospital.

Jack was born and raised in Princeton, KY. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bunkie and a Mason for 38 years and a member of the Eastern Star.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Drummond and Zelma Baker Caraway and a daughter-in-law, DeAnna Caraway.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Frances Cora Cason Caraway of Bunkie; his son, Ricky Wayne Caraway of Clay, KY; and his daughter, Jacquelyn Renee Caraway Cannon and her husband Gerald of Princeton, KY; four granddaughters, Amy Cannon Littlejohn, Abby Jo Keelin, Jessica Brooker Pemberton, Cameron Michelle Caraway; and five great-grandsons, Cannon Littlejohn, Cason Littlejohn, John Mark Keelin, Joe Matthew Keelin, and Micah Avery Pemberton.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 12:00 noon until 1:45 p.m. on Sunday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, 7200 Desiard St, Monroe, LA 71203.
