Funeral services for James Savage will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Bro. David Ducote officiating. Burial will follow in Wells Cemetery in Lecompte. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Savage, age 33 of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 in Bunkie.

James had a passion for vehicles. He loved fishing, even though he ended up in the water most of the time. But above all, James loved his children, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Anthony Sauseda and paternal grandfather, Donald Savage.

Survivors include his parents, Donnell and Ann Sauseda Savage of Bunkie; his fiancé, Courtney Chappetta of Moreauville; his children, Jayden Chappetta, Kendyll Chappetta and Hunter Richard all of Moreauville; his brother, Jeremy Paul Savage of Morrow; his sister, Kayla S. Ortego and husband Joseph of Bunkie; his maternal grandmother, Theresa Sauseda of Bunkie and his paternal grandmother, Irene Savage of Bunkie.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. on Sunday until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
