A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with the Rev. Jose Robles Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow in the Church of the Little Flower Cemetery in Evergreen. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Richard, age 21 of Big Cane, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Bunkie General Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wintis and Joyce Jeansonne.

Survivors include her parents; Mark and Lisa Jeansonne Richard of Big Cane; her brother, Nicholas Richard and his wife Whitney of Big Cane; her sister, Caroline Richard of Big Cane; her paternal grandparents Maurice and Ann Richard of Evergreen, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

A rosary will be cited on Friday evening at the funeral home.
