IRBY ALLEN BORDELON
Funeral services for Irby Bordelon will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Bro. Bill Housley officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Mausoleum in Bunkie. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Bordelon, age 73 of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, September 04, 2012 at Opelousas General Hospital.
Mr. Bordelon graduated from Louisiana College, retired from Angola, and farmed for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Irby A. and Helen Boone Bordelon.
Survivors include three sons; David Bordelon and his wife Rosemarie of Bunkie, James Bordelon and his wife Tracy of Cottonport, and Brad Bordelon and his wife Heather of Bunkie; one step-son, Buddy Hunt of Austin, TX; one daughter, Becky Thompson and her husband Glenn of Bunkie; one step-daughter, Sheree Diaville and her husband Scott of Gold Dust; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
