A mass of Christian Burial for Glenn Joseph Lemoine will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bunkie, LA with Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.
Glenn Joseph Lemoine "Go-Low", age 67, of Poland, LA (formerly of Bunkie) passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.
Glenn spent his life doing what he loves most -being on the road. He worked for Grayson Trucking his entire career and was known for knowing the routes better than anyone, always dependable and proud of his work as a truck driver. In addition to his years on the road, Glenn also served as an auxiliary police officer for the Town of Bunkie, showing his dedication to his community. Above all else, he loved his family and his grandchildren deeply and cherished every moment with them. He had a true appreciation for cajun music, which reflected his roots and love of home. Glenn genuinely loved being a truck driver, and his strong work ethic, kind heart, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; Lawrence Lemoine and Josephine Ducote- Lemoine Smith, sister; Sandra Lemoine Mayeux; and stepfather; Eugene Smith.
Survivors include his daughter; Elizabeth May Lavespere, brother; Steve "Frog" Lemoine (Jan) of Evergreen; grandchildren; Natasha Dominick and Kayden Nash, and one great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Friends may visit on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Burial will be held on a later date in Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
