Funeral services for Glenn Desselle will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Bayou des Glaises Baptist Church and Cemetery in Big Bend, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Glenn Ray Desselle, age 71 of Bordelonville, passed away on Monday July 20, 2026 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Clifford and Verna Jean Hess Desselle, and a sister, Ashley Ann Laborde.

Survivors include his aunts Shirley Hess Zenk, Hannelore Dubroc, and Linda Desselle; cousins, Wayne Desselle, Brenda Hutchinson, and Shawna Desselle Dodds, numerous other cousins, and many valued friends.

Glenn worked for many years for Halliburton and Entergy and retired to live a quiet life on Horseshoe Lake. He had a kind and generous spirit and was a giver to people and to community causes alike. He will be remembered for his love for his family, friends, neighbors, conversation, and ice cream of any flavor.
