GIRARD PAUL JUSSELIN

A funeral mass for Girard Jusselin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Jack Michalchuk officiating. Burial will follow in Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Jusselin, age 71 of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Faye Jusselin; his parents, Willie and Lou Jusselin; and a sister, Patsy Vollman.
He was a member of the Bunkie Knights of Columbus Council #2395.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Gremillion Jusselin of Bunkie; a son, Paul Jusselin and his wife Kathy of Dallas; two daughters, Leslie Merrick and her husband Jason of Cottonport and Dana Jusselin of Florida; one brother, Edward Jusselin of Bunkie; three sisters, Mickey Reeves and her husband Rich of Opelousas, Janice Quirk and her husband Roy of Bunkie, and Willie Mae Palermo of Lecompte; and his grandchildren, James Paul Reed, Alexa Rowan, Macy Merrick and Sam Jusselin.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
A vigil for the deceased will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday followed by a rosary.
