A Mass of Christian Burial for Jerry Guilbeau will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Plaucheville.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Guilbeau, age 81 of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Myrtis Dufour Guilbeau.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Kimball Guilbeau of Bunkie; his daughters, Susan Gaspard of Cottonport and Cindy Guilbeau and wife Kim of Cottonport; one brother, Richard Guilbeau of Folsom; his granddaughters, Kasey Kingham and Ainslee Soileau; step-grandchildren, Dominick DeSoto, Annalyse Desoto and Mia Belin; and his great-granddaughters, Rayna Kingham and Elliot Gray Soileau.
