A Mass of Christian Burial for Georgette Eubanks will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino, V.G. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Eubanks, age 32 of Opelousas, formerly of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at her residence.

GiGi was currently a student at Blue Cliff College, where she was studying Cosmetology.  She had the dream of following her mother's footsteps by opening her own shop.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Vernon and Myrtis Juneau; her step-father, Jerry Ward; and her paternal grandparents, Walter Warren Eubanks and Julia Mae McLeod.

Survivors include her parents, George Warren Eubanks of Bunkie and Marlene Juneau Ward of Bunkie; her sisters, Tessa Lemoine and husband Kenneth of Mansura and Natalie Knowles and husband Tyler of Bunkie; and her nephew, Zeddicus Lemoine.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
