GEORGE PINCKNEY ALPHA
Visitation for George P. Alpha will be from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Alpha, age 74 of Bunkie, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Grace Home of Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.
He is retired from Tenaco Gas and Pipeline.
He is preceded in death by two sons, Mark Davis Alpha and Curtis Paul Alpha, Sr.; brothers, Robert Ray Alpha and Brian Davis Alpha; and one sister, Elaine Alpha Watson.
Survivors include; one son, Danny Alpha of Cottonport; his daughter, Sheila A. Saucier of Cottonport; Anna B. Alpha, his wife of 46 years; four sisters, Frances Alpha Hammond of Slidell, Janet Alpha Blanco of Patterson, Maxine Alpha Walker of Plano, TX, and Marlene Alpha Daigle of Wynedot, LA; and four grandchildren.
