GENEVIEVE DUPONT
Funeral services for Genevieve Dupont will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Dupont, age 82 of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Bunkie General Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Robert Clarence Dupont; her parents, Uble and Mary Alice Juneau Barrie; brothers, Augusta Barrie and David Barrie; and a sister, Sadie Barrie.
Survivors include one son; Robert "Bobby" Dupont and his wife Mary Ann of Bunkie; two daughters, Debra Comeaux of Bunkie and Peggy Kidder of Bunkie; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 on Wednesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. A rosary will be cited at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
