Frank Woodrow Linzay was born April 2, 1962 in Cheneyville, Louisiana. Frank passed away April 9, 2022, at the age of 60, surrounded by family and friends. A truck driver by day and a racecar driver by night, he felt most at home when his wheels hit the road. He loved riding his motorcycles along railroad tracks, turnrows, and even the hallways of his school, his most celebrated venue. He enjoyed passing the time with his friends and family. Anyone that knew him would say that he certainly lived life to the fullest.

He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Stewart Linzay, Sr. and his nephew Wayne Stewart "Trey" Linzay, III.  He is survived by his son, Evan Linzay (Brooke) of Mansura, LA; his mother, Juliette DeWitt Linzay of Cheneyville, LA; his siblings, Wayne Linzay, Jr. (Cindy) of Swartz, LA, Terri Lynn Linzay of Cheneyville, LA, and Barbara Linzay Lyles (Chris) of Alexandria, LA; his grandchildren, Silas Dupuis, Micah Linzay, and Maisyn Linzay, and many nieces and nephews.

His family gives special thanks to the two hospices, Still Waters Hospice and Passages Hospice, and the wonderful caregivers, doctors, nurses, physical therapists, speech pathologist, counselors, and chaplains.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, in the chapel at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. Burial will follow in the Trinity Episcopal Church cemetery in Cheneyville, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please donate to the charity of your choice.
