Funeral services for Floyd Soileau will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Bros. Danny Broussard and David Broussard officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Bayou Jacque Church of Christ Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Soileau, age 78 of Big Cane, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by a son, Robin Soileau; his parents, Fabius and Edna Boudreaux Soileau; sister, Doris Soileau Johnson; and a half-brother, Fabius Soileau.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Marie Hammond Soileau of Big Cane; his children, Keith Soileau (Elaine) of Baton Rouge, Terrance Soileau (Missy) of Gonzales, and Debbie Soileau of Oakdale; a brother, Leo Soileau of Valdosta, GA; sisters, Genevieve O'Neal of Dallas, Yvonne Yokes of Rochester, NY, Amelia Goldberg of Houston and Emily Beard of Waxia; grandchildren, Becky and Marshall Dantin, Anthony and Alejandra Soileau, Ryan Soileau, Kristen Soileau, Kelli Soileau, Allison Soileau and Sarah Soileau; and five greatgrandchildren.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
