Funeral services for Pearl Blank will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville with Bro. Ken Austin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bayou Jacque Church of Christ Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mrs. Blank, age 92 of Plaucheville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Paul and Mary Noel Lagrange; siblings, Gene Lagrange, Leland Lagrange, Jacqueline L. Bordelon and Velma Rose Lagrange; and a great-grandson, Landon Faust.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Charles Blank of Plaucheville; her children, Linda Kay Lacombe (Conley) of Fifth Ward, Wilson Quebedeaux (Darlene) of Fifth Ward, Glenn "Parrin" Quebedeaux (Marie) of Plaucheville, Cindy Q. Breaux (Barney) of Bayou Gauche and Jennifer Quebedeaux (Warren) of Goudeau; sister, Paula Story ( Paul) of Hawkinsville, GA; her grandchildren, Mandi Ponthieux (Don), Dondi Lacombe (Becky), Nancy Anglin (Cecil), Corey Quebedeaux (Monica), Lauren Faust (Jonathan), Rannon Breaux (Summer), Taylor Stokes (Wyatt), Shelby Lemoine and Amelia Lemoine; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include:  Dondi Lacombe, Corey Quebedeaux, Wyatt Lemoine, Will Anglin, Rannon Breaux, Jonathan Faust, Warren Lemoine and Pershing Blank, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers include:  Glenn Quebedeaux, Wilson Quebedeaux and Barney Breaux.

Friends may visit on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 12:00 noon at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plauheville.
