A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in St. Landry with the Rev. Richard Broussard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Monier, age 92 of Lake Charles, formerly of St. Landry, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Lake Charles Care Center.

Mrs. Monier is preceded in death by her husbands, Marcelus Tate and Joseph Monier.

Survivors include a step daughter, Loretta Bebee of St. Landry; her niece and caregiver, Enora Johnson and her husband Charles of Lake Charles; and a host of nephews and nieces.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in St. Landry.
