Funeral services for Ella Mae Dufour will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with the Pastor Jack Osteen officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Goudeau. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Dufour, age 73 of Bunkie, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at the Avoyelles Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ildrin Dufour; her mother and step-father, Roberta M. and Leroy Stage; four infant children; and a foster-brother, Thomas Kelone.

Survivors include one brother, James Dufour and his wife Cindy of Goudeau; a foster brother, Ronnie Kelone of Bunkie; a foster-sister, Marie Blankenship of Bunkie; her three beloved nieces, Kim Dufour Darbonne, Melinda Dufour Carmouche and Jennifer Dufour Dupre; six great-nephews and 2 great-nieces; and her cherished Godchildren, Kim Dufour Darbonne and Gracie Lynn Dupre.

Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. A rosary will be cited at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
