Funeral services for Elizabeth Riche' will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville, with Rev. Martin Laird officiating. Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Ms. Riche', age 71 of Plaucheville, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital.

Liz loved being outdoors working in her yard and garden. Her favorite times were being with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Louise English Scallan; a brother, Mark Steve Scallan; and sister, Virginia Brantley.

Survivors include her sons; Chad Lemoine of Lake Charles and Michael "Mikey" Riche' of Plaucheville; her brothers, Jimmy Scallan of Henderson and Kenneth Scallan and wife Roxanne of Plaucheville; and her grandchildren, Emily Lemoine, Michael D. Riche, III and Aeriana Riche'.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
