Funeral services for Elgee Deville, Jr. will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the First Pentecostal Church of Melville with the Bro. Ham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Deville, age 60 of Breaux Bridge, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Opelousas General Hospital.

Sonny was a construction superintendent for M.D. Descant Construction for 25 years and his pastime was hot rods.

Mr. Deville is preceded in death by his parents; Elgee Sr, and Peggy Wooten Deville.

Survivors include one son, Adam Deville of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Deven Deville of California; two brothers, Harold Deville and his wife Catherine of Alexandria and Stephen Polozola and his wife Paula of Sunset; two sisters, Linda Borde and her husband Gus of Duson and Juli Tate of Duson; his grandson, Anthony Dayton Sissini; and his loving nieces Ashley Polozola, Christy Polozola, and Trinity Wiltz.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Church of Melville.
