Elaine Mouille, 69, of Palmetto, peacefully went into the Presence of the Lord on March 1, 2023, being surrounded & wrapped in abounding honor and love by family.

Survived by her daughter Monique (Stephen) Butler, son Grant (Faith) Coburn, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a sister Gussie Bihm, a brother L.J. Mouille, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Preceded in death are parents Lawrence and Ethel (Brinkley) Mouille; sisters Mary Lee Mouille, Barbara Dicapo, Ruby Bercegeay, and nephew Jesse Bihm.

Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home at 302 St. John St. in Bunkie, LA 71322 with Pastor Tim Grant officiating.  Visitation will from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon.

Pallbearers are Christian Morphet, Joshua Morphet, Micah Morphet, Brent Dozier, Dennis Earl Dicapo and L.J. Mouille.

Honorary Pallbearers are Travis Dicapo, David Krull and Logan Guillot.

Burial will follow in Palmetto Methodist Cemetery.

Although her presence leaves an incredible emptiness, the value added, she influenced in those closest to her, will continually go on and our hope is anchored in that.  It's not goodbye but see you later.
