EDWARD "STANLEY" BOOK

Funeral services for Stanley Book will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Bro. David Newton officiating. Burial will follow with a graveside service at 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Forrest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Book, age 76 of Lone Pine, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte
He was long time resident of Beaumont, TX and upon retirement he moved back to Lone Pine.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Blood Book; a daughter, Wanda Lane Book Busceme; a grandson, Thomas John Busceme, and a brother, R.A. Book.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Blood Book of Lone Pine; two daughters, Shelia Gay Book Brackman and her husband Johnny of Huntsville, TX, and Sandra Rena Book Stark and her husband Jimmy of Covington, LA; two brothers, Larry Gale Book of Pineville and Clarence Book, Jr. of Lone Pine; one sister, Lettye Glee Book Froboese of Abita Springs; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
