DOROTHY KATHERINE SPENCER
Funeral services for Dorothy Spencer will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Church of the Little Flower in Evergreen with the Rev. Bartholomew Ebey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Ms. Spencer, age 92 of Conroe, Tx, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Vitas Inpatient Hospice Unit at Health South in Shenandoah, TX.
Ms. Spencer is preceded in death by her parents; J.W. and Daisy Thayer Spencer, Sr.; her siblings, Eugenia Higgins, Lorona James, Ethel Falls, James W. Spencer, Jr., Louis Spencer, and Jerry Spencer; and a half brother, Lester Spencer.
Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
