A Mass of Christian Burial for Donna David will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with Rev. Martin Laird officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Ms. David, age 56 of Plaucheville, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Ochsner Lafayette Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her father, Carl V. Rabalais, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters, Gabrielle David (Sammy) of Plaucheville and Maggie David (Kurt) of Hamburg; her mother, Betty Cazelot Rabalais of Plaucheville; her sisters, Christine R. Torres (Jesus) of Plaucheville, Nicole R. Dufour of Cottonport and Dione R. Guillot (Joey) of Dupont; and her grandchildren, Reid Piazza and Ruby Martin.

Friends may visit on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of rosary at 10:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
