DONALD BONTON
Funeral services for Donald Bonton will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Paul Baptist Church in Marksville with the Rev. Lawrence Porterie officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Bonton, age 51 of Marksville, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Bonton.
Survivors include a daughter, Vallery Carmouche of Marksville; his mother, Bertha Gonzales Ford of Marksville; three brothers, Ronald Bonton of Marksville, Lonia Ray Bonton of Marksville, and Johnny Lane Bonton of Atlanta; two sisters, Nova Porterie of Marksville and Rachone Renee' Ford of Marksville; and one grandchild. He was also a father figure to Geneva Johnson of Marksville; his godmother, Beryl Greaves and godfathers, Hayden Jacobs and Donald Jacobs; and his special friends, Marsha Herrera and Marie Alexander and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Marksville.
