IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Diane Dufour
Gremillion
November 16, 1944 – December 25, 2024
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Diane Gremillion will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church with Rev. Martin Laird officiating. Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
Mrs. Gremillion, age 80 of Plaucheville, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 while surrounded by her loved ones.
Born and raised in Plaucheville, Diane was a lifelong member of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church. She loved being outside and mowing her grass, but her favorite thing was taking care of her family. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lisa Gremillion; her parents, Byron and Maude Mayeux Dufour; and her brothers, Darnell Dufour and Mitchell Dufour.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Laverne Gremillion of Plaucheville; her children, Sherry Dalgo (Paul) of Plaucheville, Rhonda Bruffy (Robert) of Hamburg, and Lane Gremillion (Erica) of Pineville; her grandchildren, Kayla Romero (John), Tiffany Dalgo, and Lauren Gremillion; and great-grandchildren, Chloe Romero, Caden Romero, and Reed Helminger.
Pallbearers will include: Paul Dalgo, Robert Bruffy, John Romero, Joseph Dufour, Brett Dufour, and Ray Lemoine. Caden Romero will serve as Cross Bearer.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center for the compassion and care they provided during this difficult time.
Friends may visit on Monday from 8:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
