Funeral services for Denise Scott will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.  Burial will follow in the Griffin Hills Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Scott, age 63 of Vidor, TX, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Mid-Jefferson Extended Care in Beaumont.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Nicolette Folgate Book; and a brother, Donald Wayne Book.

Survivors include her children; Philip Yellott of Beaumont, Nicolette Blood (Ryan Johnson) of Bossier City and Megan Singleton of Vidor, TX; brothers, Douglas Book of Lone Pine, Darrin Book of Beaumont and Dennis "Buster" Book of Lone Pine; sisters, Deanna Rogers (Jeff) of Bossier City and Doreen Book of Beaumont; her grandchildren, Greyson Singleton, Khloie Johnson and Deuce Johnson.

Friends may visit on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
