Funeral services for Debra Stark Greene will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville with Rev. Martin Laird officiating. Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mrs. Greene, age 70 of Plaucheville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Edison and Ethel Rabalais Stark; and a sister, Gayle Stark Dufour.

Survivors include her husband, Johnnie E. Greene of Plaucheville; her children, Nicole Greene of New Orleans and Blake Greene (Christy) of Simmesport; her sisters, Nioma Stark Fontenot of Robert, Maudrey Stark Brodtman of Cottonport, and Nedra Stark Tuller of River Ridge; a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Anne Orgeron and an adopted granddaughter, Carley Ortego Greene.

Friends may visit on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
