Funeral services for David Poole will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024, in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Frank "Butch" Linzay, Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Christian Cemetery in Cheneyville.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Poole, age 65 of Cheneyville, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Daniel Poole, Sr. and a brother, Robert Daniel Poole, Jr.

Survivors include his wife; Wanda Pickett Poole of Mississippi; his children, Jessica P. Dickerson and husband Jason of Round Rock, TX, Amanda Poole and husband Alan Mangold of Austin, TX and Logan Poole of Cheneyville; his mother, Jane Gullett Poole of Cheneyville; his brothers, Richard Allen Poole, Michael Ray Poole and William Lee "Bill" Poole and wife Jackie, all of Cheneyville; and his grandchildren, Layne Anthony Dickerson and Addison Mangold.

Friends may visit on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
