A Mass of Christian Burial for Danny Gauthier will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Gauthier, age 59 of Bunkie, a retired attorney from Baton Rouge, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Gauthier was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bob Paul Gauthier and his brother, Chad Gauthier.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Fogleman Gauthier and his daughters, Madison Gauthier and Ariel Gauthier all of Baton Rouge; his mother, Charlene Boney Gauthier of Bunkie; the mother of his children, Angela Fogleman Gauthier of Baton Rouge; and his sister, Stacey Descant and husband Thomas of Cottonport.

Friends may visit on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Saturday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.  A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
