DANIEL WAYNE CHELETTE
Funeral services for Daniel Chelette will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Turkey Creek Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Addison-Johnson Cemetery in Turkey Creek. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Chelette, age 62 of Pocahontas, TN, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2011 at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer, TN.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Chelette; his wife, Geraldine Landreneau; and a brother, Roger Dale Chelette.
Survivors include his wife; Rebecca Hopper Chelette of Pocahontas, TN; his mother, Lillie Mae Chelette of Pine Prairie; one son, Daniel W. Chelette, Jr. (Rose) of Prairieville, LA, one step-son Johnny Logan of Pocahontas, TN; one daughter, Crystal Light (Amouis) of Livonia; three brothers, Charles Chelette (Maxine) of Ville Platte, Sonny Chelette (Loretta) of South Haven, MS, Timmy Chelette of Smyrna, TN; three sisters, Judy Bazare (Mike) of Turkey Creek, Delores Jeansonne (John) of Ville Platte, Sharon Bersuder (Gary) of Smyrna, TN; five grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the Turkey Creek Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
