Funeral services for Dane Marcotte will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Guillory officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A service on Thursday evening at 6:30 with the Butch Lindzay will held in the chapel of funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Marcotte, age 18 of Baton Rouge, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 in Texas.

He is preceded in death by great-grandparents; Charles and Lois Sisco, Lee Richard, Claude and Doris Blood, and Edwin and Francis Marcotte.

Survivors include his parents; Randy Marcotte of Cheneyville and Sarah Lee Richard of Bunkie; two brothers, Trent Marcotte and his wife Denae of Carencro, and Tyler Marcotte and his wife Ashley of Huffman, TX; three sisters, Zanna Marcotte and her husband Brad, Charlie Richard and Bailey Richard all of Bunkie; his maternal grandparents, Blaine Richard and wife Sylvia of Fayetteville, AR and Valerie Benoit and her husband Jeff of Eunice; his paternal grandparents, DJ and Ruth Marcotte of Cheneyville; and his nieces and nephews, Nevaeh, Skyla, Gracelyn, Cameron, Allie, Trevor, T.J., Dawson and Anna.

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie and 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Morrow.
