DALE MITCHELL THIBODEAUX

Funeral services for Dale Thibodeaux will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville with Bro. Devin England officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bayou Jack Pentecostal Cemetery in Bayou Jack.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mr. Thibodeaux, age 62 of Moreauville, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at University Medical Center in New Orleans.

Dale worked hard all his life and lived a simple one.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, watching LSU football and taking care of the things he cherished.  He believed that you work hard for what's yours and carried himself with pride.  He was a friend to many and loved by all.  He will be missed dearly..

He is preceded in death by his father, L.J. Thibodeaux.

Survivors include his children; Louis Mitchell Thibodeaux of Plaucheville and Danielle Tanya Thibodeaux of New Orleans; his stepson, Rico Bergeron of Las Vegas, NV; his mother, Joyce Thibodeaux of Bayou Jacque; brother, Denae Thibodeaux and wife Asia of Plaucheville; and his grandchildren, Railee Thibodeaux and Kyla Thibodeaux.

Friends may visit on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
