Funeral services for Corey Strange will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Rev. Rick Gremillion officiating. Burial will follow in the Dodge Cemetery in Vick, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Corey, age 2 of Baton Rouge, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 in Mansura.

Survivors include his mother, Tammy Piazza of Baton Rouge; his father, Jeremy Strange of Centerpoint; his sisters, Amber Moreau (Austin) and Kayla Moreau; his brother, Landon Piazza; a nephew, Damien Lachney; his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Darlean Piazza of Mansura; his paternal grandparents, Vickye and Joey Breaux of Houma and Donald Strange of Centerpoint; his maternal great-grandparents, Paula Bernard of Marksville, Napoleon Petch of Marksville, Maudry Ducote of Hessmer and Adaline Piazza of Plaucheville; and his paternal grandparents, Ben Parker and Jimmie Parker of Centerpoint.

He is preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Raymond Piazza, Sr. and Frank Ducote, his great-grandmothers, Armentina Petch and Sandra Johnson and an uncle, Corey Strange.

Friends may call from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
