Funeral services for Clinton Blood will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Lone Pine Baptist Church with Bro. Adam Thorton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Griffin Hills Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Blood, age 63 of Lone Pine, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Bunkie General Hospital.

He is preceded in death by a son, Brandon Dan Blood; his parents, Ollie and Genevieve Blood; and his siblings, Walter Blood, Mary Lou Dupree, Tim Blood and Stoney Blood.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Glenda Blood of Lone Pine; his children, Frances Desormeaux, Trenton Lee Blood and Kenny Lynn Blood all of Lone Pine; his brothers, Charles Blood of Pine Prairie, Ray Blood of Pine Prairie, Farley Blood of Lone Pine and Chris Blood of Turkey Creek; his sisters, Faye Book of Clearwater, Patricia Laborde of Bunkie and Devonna Deville of Lone Pine; his grandchildren, Destany Desormeaux, Felton Desormeaux, Madelynn Blood and Genevieve Wise.

Friends may visit on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Lone Pine Baptist Church.
