A Mass of Christian Burial for Rick Henderson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Mausoleum.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Rick passed in peace on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the age of 81.

He is survived by his wife Jackie F. Henderson, Tracey F. Mose (Tony Mose), Christy F. Doize (Rhett Doize), Penelope Jules Doize and Max Elliot Doize.

He enjoyed a successful career with British Petroleum Alliance Refinery as an engineer, and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.  Rick proudly served two terms as a Bunkie City Councilman, a member of Lion's Club of Bunkie and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

He will be fondly remembered by all and live in our hearts forever.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
