Funeral services for Clayton Palermo will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Lone Pine Assembly of God with Bro. Billy Tingle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Palermo, age 87 of Bunkie, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Richardson Palermo; a daughter, Stacie Lynn Palermo; his parents, Frank, Jr. and Rella Johnson Palermo; and brothers, Frank Charles "P.T." Palermo, III and Vincent Palermo.

Survivors include his daughters, Cherie Palermo of Bunkie and Monica P. Hernandez and husband Dario of Bunkie; a brothers, Anthony Palermo and wife Ada of Delhi; his grandchildren, Felicia Palermo, Joshua Palermo, Erica Ferguson, Alaina Hernandez, Marli Gonzales, Juan Carlos Hernandez, Damon Hernandez and Dylan Hernandez; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include: Frank Palermo, IV, Juan Carlos Hernandez, Damon Hernandez, Dylan Hernandez, Dario Hernandez and Daniel Ferguson.

Friends may visit on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Pine Assembly of God Church.
