Funeral services for Clara Bazar will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with Bro. Wayne Holston officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Bazar, age 85 of St. Landry, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Avoyelles Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Gabriel and Lorraine Joubert Guillory and sister, Beulah G. Hukins.

Survivors include her children; Crystal O. Blankenship of Houston, Nelson "Bud" Oubre of Bunkie, Sandy Oubre of St. Landry and Gabe Oubre of St. Landry; grandchildren, Tyler, Christopher, Jake, Paige, Matt, Rayni, Britany, Kayla and Chance; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
